Madame Fan

Peony Jade at The Keppel
When we heard that the Michelin Guide was coming to Singapore, we knew that this would change the dining scene forever and how right we were. Earning itself a Bib Gourmand rating is the Peony Jade at The Keppel – meaning that the inspectors have recognized it for its great food and great value, but not only this, it is the first and only Chinese restaurant to be given the accolade in Singapore – making this staple quite the catch. Perfect for a weekday treat, the daily dim sum buffet is a real winner in terms of value and quality and for the rest of the week, the regular Cantonese and Sze-chuan delights on the menu promise a meal of a lifetime.
Beni Singapore
If there are two things everyone looks for in a meal it’s good food and at a good value. Well, you might be surprised to hear that Beni is just that, yes that’s right, Michelin starred French-Japanese, Beni. You see it seems that after being given the star, the restaurant decided to actually drop their prices for certain items in a bid to make it more affordable and attainable for all. Helmed by Head Chef Kenji Yamanaka, he applies French techniques to traditional Japanese ingredients for one of the most exciting menus you can find. Talking of menus, with the actual menu changing on a weekly basis, you can dine there as many times as you like and never eat the same thing twice. Perfect.

There is a reason why everyone talks about JAAN and it’s simple: because it really is a once in a lifetime experience. With sweeping views of the city, this 40 seater Singapore dining favourite has regularly, and rightfully, been placed on best restaurant guides and last year won a Michelin star for it’s efforts. When it comes to dining, expect the unexpected as unique flavours, combinations and aesthetics take over to provide the most theatrical and contemporary dining experience you can find.
Odette
When talking about wonderful dining experiences, Odette is always top of everyone’s wish-lists. Helmed by ex-JAAN Executive Chef, Julien Royer, Odette impresses from the second you walk in. From sleek white table cloths with grey brushed suede chairs and gold embellishments, the contemporary style sets the tone for the meal ahead. Modern with a classic twist, think Chili crab kueh pie tee, Hokkaido saba, Heirloom beetroot salad and Pine-smoked organic egg at this set-menu only extravaganza.
