Earning itself a Bib Gourmand rating is the Peony Jade at The Keppel – meaning that the inspectors have recognized it for its great food and great value, but not only this, it is the first and only Chinese restaurant to be given the accolade in Singapore – making this staple quite the catch. You see it seems that after being given the star, the restaurant decided to actually drop their prices for certain items in a bid to make it more affordable and attainable for all. Helmed by Head Chef Kenji Yamanaka, he applies French techniques to traditional Japanese ingredients for one of the most exciting menus you can find. Talking of menus, with the actual menu changing on a weekly basis, you can dine there as many times as you like and never eat the same thing twice. Perfect.

With sweeping views of the city, this 40 seater Singapore dining favourite has regularly, and rightfully, been placed on best restaurant guides and last year won a Michelin star for it’s efforts. When talking about wonderful dining experiences, Odette is always top of everyone’s wish-lists. Helmed by ex-JAAN Executive Chef, Julien Royer, Odette impresses from the second you walk in. From sleek white table cloths with grey brushed suede chairs and gold embellishments, the contemporary style sets the tone for the meal ahead. Modern with a classic twist, think Chili crab kueh pie tee, Hokkaido saba, Heirloom beetroot salad and Pine-smoked organic egg at this set-menu only extravaganza.
