Negroni Week Comes Back To Singapore

Buckle up cocktail fans, this looks like the week we have all been dreaming of.

Now back for its fourth year running, Negroni Week will hit Singapore from June 4th to 10th this year.

So just what is going on? Well, eight of Singapore's biggest and best bars will be taking place and during the week serving either classic Negroni's or their own take on the bitter-sweet cocktail with $1 from every Negroni sold being given to a charity of their choice. While Singapore's contribution might seem small with eight bars, Negroni Week occurs in over 7,700 bars in over 60 countries worldwide, with more than $1.5 million being raised for charitable causes to date.

For fans of the Italian medicine aka cocktail, the likes of TESS Bar & Kitchen, Caffe Fernet and Neon Pigeon’s Symphony Loo bars will all be taking part. So what can you look forward to? Well, TESS Bar & Kitchen will be donating $3 for every one of her Campari, gin, lychee vermouth and gold dust cocktails to the Straits Times Pocket Money School Fund, Caffe Fernet will be debuting 'Nonna On Fleek' which takes traditional Italian ingredients including rosemary, sage, thyme, olives and parmesan for their interpretation of the Negroni and will donate $1 from each sold to the New Charis Mission - a non-profit organisation aimed at rebuilding the lives of the elderly and at risk youth. Last but certainly not least is Neon Pigeon's Symphony Loo who have merged two Italian classics - the Negroni and Limoncello to create Bello Bella where $2 from each sold will be going to Save the Children, a non-profit organisation helping children across the world.
