Savour the Finest with Porta at Park Hotel Clarke Quay’s Auchentoshan Whisky Dinner

Whisk Away on a Phenomenal Epicurean Journey

Pamper your palette with Chef Alex Phan’s signature creations paired with a flight of Auchentoshan's finest

If you are looking to expand your tasting horizons or simply enjoy a fine dram, PORTA at Park Hotel Clarke Quay’s Auchentoshan triple-distilled whisky dinner is the perfect event for you. Taking place exclusively from 14th to 16th June at the eclectic modern European brasserie, the specially curated dinner pairs Executive Chef Alex Phan’s signature creations with the finest range of Glaswegian Scotch expressions.

Thyme cookie with blackberry compote

The evening begins with some zest, the first course featuring the Auchentoshan 12 Year-Old Single Malt paired with home-smoked trout in Thai lime and granny smith apple. Then progress on to the Auchentoshan 18 Year-Old Single Malt matured in American bourbon oak relished with a hearty course of sous-vide tender pigeon, earthy beet and quinoa. Finally, saving the best for last, round off the evening with the best-selling Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt, matured in 3 different casks – American bourbon, Spanish Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximenez Sherry – paired with a delectable home-baked thyme cookie with blackberry compote, fresh whole blackberries and aged balsamic.

After dinner, take the time to explore the stunning façade of the riverfront hotel with its striking red-tiled roofs and towers with spires and soak in the scintillating views of the Singapore River and city skyline at sunset.

Well worth the splurge, dinner starts at $58++ per adult (without whisky pairing) to $76++ per adult (with whisky pairing). Jamey Merkel, the ambassador of Auchentoshan, will also be making a special one-night appearance on 14 June to share more about the triple-distilled whisky.
