The Best Mooncakes For Mid Autumn Festival

Where to get the tastiest and most luxurious  mooncakes for this Mid Autumn Festival.

Jade - Fullerton Hotel

The good old Fullerton Hotel  is always a safe bet when it comes to finding the tastiest mooncakes. This year, Executive Chef, Leong Chee Yeng has looked to local desserts to create his delicious delights - there's the rose-scented Bandung, coconut with gula  Melaka and pandan Ondeh-Ondeh as  well as as a host of baked and bite sized delights to try.

Goodwood Park Hotel

When it comes to sweet treats, Goodwood  Park  Hotel is always a safe bet and for mooncakes, they are no exception. This year, get ready for tropical inspirations such as Kiwi Dragonfruit, Durian and Lotus with Melon seed for some of the most refreshing mooncakes  around.

Raffles Hotel

The newly refurbished Raffles Hotel  is back again with their famed mooncake offerings. Regulars will be pleased to know that the acclaimed champagne-truffle snow skin is back, a favourite since  the 1990s and this year, in line with their new refurbishment, they reveal  a new creation - the avocado and mango yuzu snow-skin mooncake which is not only healthier than traditional choices, but delightfully refreshing too.  To celebrate the festival in line with their new re-opening,  Raffles have also released a limited-edition two-tiered box to house the baked mooncakes and house-blend teas.

Ritz-Carlton

Leave it to the Ritz-Carlton to create some of the chicest, most stylish mooncakes  around. This year they unveil a host of new flavours, including Orangetini with chocolate, orange zest and liqueur, as well as bringing back old favourites including the Lycheetini Mooncake- packed full of  lychee liqueur and real lychee pieces. This  year the fun continues with the packaging - a red or gold box that can  helpfully be re-used as a desk stationary box.
