The Best Multi-Concept Restaurants In Singapore

When is a restaurant not just a restaurant?

With new restaurants seeming to pop up almost on a daily basis, the pressure has never been greater for eateries to offer something different, something unique. So, from venues that combine dining with shopping to eating with partying, here are the best multi-concept restaurants in Singapore.

The Spot

With Marina One filling up by the days, hungry tenants and nearby office will be happy what’s going on at The Spot. So, what’s the news? Well, firstly there’s an all-day café, perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast or lunch at, next up  there’s the restaurant for a nice, long lunch and then there’s the bar and even cigar lounge – perfect to help you wind down after a long day at work or even a meeting spot to start the evening off.

So France

You know when a restaurant is noticed by the Michelin Guide that it’s got to be good and that’s exactly what’s going on over at the very multi-faceted So France. Firstly home to the So France Bistro, you can look forward to traditional delights including cote de boeuf, foie gras and duck confit from lunch until dinner with an ever changing lunch special. Next up is the epicerie, or gourmet grocery if you will. Selling the finest fruits and vegetables as well as French cheeses, pates and meats – this is a veritable food lovers frenzy. Last but certainly not least is the wine bar. Housing over one hundred hand-picked French wines, you can choose between settling down over a couple of glasses for the evening or just picking up a bottle or two on your way home.

SPRMKT

Hmmm, the first hurdle is how to pronounce where you are going and for this one – say it quickly and you’ve got it. Designed to re-invent the supermarket experience (see what they did there,) the aim of SPRMKT was for diners to enjoy their meal, taste what’s on offer and then be able to buy and try to re-create it at home. Now with three locations across Singapore, each restaurant takes a slightly different approach but each has the same laid back, fresh ingredients led approach. Then of course there’s the supermarket aspect that each venue holds, letting you bring some tasty treats home. And the fun doesn’t stop there either with SPRMKT adding an art gallery aspect to their venues where they showcase up and coming artists – giving them the chance to be fully in the public domain.
