The Best New Restaurants In Singapore: January 2019

The hottest tables this month.

Table 65

Taking the place of Joel Robuchon's former spot, Table 65 is the latest celebrity endeavour at Resorts World Sentosa. Taking its name from Singapore's dialing code, it's a fine dining meets casual concept from international wonder chefs, Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot. But what has everyone talking isn't the names behind it or even the location, it's the concept. One large chefs communal table, diners can expect modern European cuisine with a side of an interactive experience.

Gake by Toitsu

Recently named as Chef of the Year at the World Gourmet Summit, chef-owner Angus Chow has opened his doors to his latest project, Gake. Meaning 'cliff' in Japanese, expect contemporary Japanese fare with a Western touch.

15 Stamford by Alvin Leung

Riding high on the success of Forbidden Duck, Alvin Leung has opened yet another restaurant in Singapore. Sitting pretty in the uber stylish Capitol Kempinski Hotel, this 150 seater restaurant will serve the chef's take on his favourite Asian recipes from Korea, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.
