Because a holiday wouldn't be a holiday without some envy- inducing social media snaps.

Knowing full well that a holiday isn't quite the same without a side of envy-inducing Instagram shots, those clever people over at luxury travel site, Lightfoot Travel, have compiled their list of the most Instagrammable hotels around the world.

Marrakech, Morocco – Amanjena

Thanks to its stunning, intricate decor, Morocco is a feast for social media snaps. Thanks to the plethora of olive trees, Moorish heritage design and colour of the hotel, this serene hotel makes the list for many a reason.

Namibia – Little Kulala 

It doesn't get much more breathtaking than this stunning hotel sat amongst the sand dunes. Add to that the ability to sleep outside, underneath the stars, and you have one of the most instagrammable moments ever.

Finnish Lapland, Finland – Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort

Forget Instagram, if you are looking for a holiday with a difference, it doesn't come better than this. How about sleeping in a real glass igloo, a log cabin or even Santa's home? This is a destination sure to make memories, and pictures, of a lifetime.

St. Lucia, Caribbean – Jade Mountain

Sitting in an infinity pool over looking beautiful, lush mountains with clear blue skies and a cocktail in hand? That's an Instagram moment if we ever saw one.
