Treat Dad this Fathers Day with these delicious lunches

Show the old man he's appreciated by taking him out for a fancy feast.

At the gorgeous The Westin Singapore, dads will enjoy a full afternoon of royal treatment with a Father's Day buffet lunch hosted by Seasonal Tastes – the hotel’s signature restaurant on level 32. On the menu are freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobster, grilled beef tomahawk and other international favourites, with a sweet selection providing a range of classic desserts to satisfy everyone’s cravings. A selection of wholesome dishes from The Westin’s signature ‘Eat Well’ menu will provide healthy alternatives. After lunch, walk off those calories with a stroll through Gardens by The Bay or explore Chinatown's quirky boutiques.

The Westin Singapore’s Father’s Day Buffet will take place on 16 June from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and is priced at S$98++ per person. 


Orchard Road Moments

Heading into more central town over at Crossroads at  Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza, they are back with their annual Father’s Day brunch. On 16 June, watch as Dad tucks into Irish lamb and crispy suckling pig before enjoying the likes of baked oysters and green bamboo lobster, or savouring fresh sashimi, crab claws and lobster tails. Especially for the occasion, the pastry team will be serving alcohol-infused desserts ranging from whiskey bonbons and cognac tiramisu to cherry liqueur Forêt Noire.

The Crossroads Father’s Day brunch is priced at $136++ for adults and $62++ for children. 

Over at another Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza institution, Wan Hao Chinese, families can toast dad with classic Cantonese meals especially designed for sharing. On the menu are such delicacies as fried Hokkaido scallops stuffed with minced prawn and red wine mashed apple, and braised Alaskan king crab with dried seafood and crab roe.

The Wan Hao Cantonese experience is available from 14 to 16 June.

A Taste of the High Life

Fathers Day comes just once a year so spoil him with something simple yet elegant, like a classic sponge cake from Colony Bakery at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. Especially for Father's Day, the pastry team will be taking orders for a coffee almond sponge cake layered with crunchy almond feuilletine and chocolate crémeux, and topped with rich coffee buttercream and dark chocolate glaze. 

Priced at S$72, the cake is available for pre-orders until 13 June on

Wanting to up the ante even more? The Ritz- Carlton's Michelin-starred Summer Pavilion restaurant will be serving up a multi-course Cantonese meal featuring double-boiled superior bird’s nest soup with sea whelk and chicken; sautéed geoduck clam with king scallop, asparagus and XO sauce; and steamed vermicelli with Canadian lobster.
