Mandala Club has announced the launch of an installation featuring sculptures of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew by Daniel Arsham, along with its partnership with the Art Galleries Association Singapore (AGAS). The installation is available for public viewing on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, while AGAS is set to curate exhibitions in The Analogue Room, showcasing the club's dedication to fostering artistic discourse.

As a hub of cultural enrichment, Mandala Club introduces a series of art programmes aimed at nurturing creativity and celebrating Singapore's vibrant arts scene. The collaboration with AGAS will feature curated exhibitions and panel discussions exploring various narratives within the local art community.

The installation, situated within Mandala Club's premises at 31 Bukit Pasoh Road, comprises two sculptures crafted by Daniel Arsham, paying homage to the life and legacy of Singapore's first Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. Originally commissioned by Refinery and X3D Studio, these sculptures capture pivotal moments in Mr Lee's history, symbolising his visionary leadership during Singapore's journey to independence.

One sculpture, "Eroded Bronze LKY Full Body 1:2," portrays Mr Lee before declaring Singapore's independence, depicting his contemplative demeanour as he faced the challenges ahead. The other sculpture, "Eroded Bronze LKY Bust 1:1," represents a timeless symbol of Mr. Lee's wisdom, serving as a reminder of his enduring influence on Singapore's development.

Ben Jones, Co-Founder and CEO of Mandala Club expressed excitement about the installation, emphasising its significance in honouring Mr. Lee's contributions to Singapore's growth. The installation is open to both club members and the public during The Canvas's operating hours, providing an opportunity for visitors to engage with Singapore's rich cultural heritage. In addition to the sculpture installation, Mandala Club has curated a series of panel discussions and exhibitions in collaboration with AGAS, aimed at fostering dialogue and promoting cultural exchange. These events offer insights into various aspects of the local art scene, showcasing diverse perspectives and contributing to Singapore's cultural landscape.
