Sephora Singapore’s is on a mission to help you discover and curate skincare regimens unique to your skin’s own needs.

Enabled by Skincredible – an exclusive in-store service that uses a breakthrough dermatologist-grade skin analysis device, Sephora’s customers can easily identify their skin concerns and explore personalized, multi-branded product recommendations.

Sephora Singapore recognises that all skin types have unique needs and there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to skincare. Navigating the complicated world of skincare can be daunting to many, especially with the sheer number of skincare brands and products on the market. More often than not, consumers may feel overwhelmed and unsure about how to embark on a personalized skincare journey to cater to their skin. Coupled with the in-store Skincredible consults, Sephora Singapore aims to provide clarity and establish its credibility through the Science of Skin campaign, that gives consumers the best backed-by-science recommendations to help them address their skin concerns and needs.
Skincredible,  by Sephora, is an exclusive in-store service using the Skincredible device that provides an insight into the skin, how it is really doing and what it needs. This breakthrough dermatologist-grade skin analysis device scans the skin’s surface to magnify and measure moisture, pores, fine lines and sebum. Rather than generic advice from a friend, Skincredible provides insights into an individual’s skin needs, identifies the top skin concern and provides personalized skincare recommendations based on the results.
Conducted in-stores by Sephora’s trained Beauty Advisors, Skincredible consult is free-of-charge. Walk-ins are welcome with no booking required, subject to manpower availability.

Top 5 Skin Concerns of Sephora Singapore’s Customers

Sephora Singapore asked its customers about their top skin concerns, and narrowed down the findings to the top five concerns to anchor the Science of Skin campaign. These skin concerns are: blemishes, wrinkles, dark spots, dry skin and pores.

Those struggling with stubborn blemishes can look out for ingredients like salicylic acid and niacinamide. For those new to using acids, it is recommended to opt for niacinamide-based products as it is a relatively mild yet effective ingredient to combat blemishes. Salicylic acid, on the other hand, is a potent ingredient that is known and proven to get rid of blemishes. However, it can be more prone to sensitivity, hence it is recommended to do a patch test on their hand before using salicylic acid directly on the face. For starters, use the product 2-3 times a week before fully incorporating it into the daily skincare routine.

Sephora recommends:

  • Dr. Dennis Gross DRx Blemish Solutions Breakout Clearing Gel | $69

  • Mario Badescu Drying Lotion | $36

  • Sephora Collection Clarifying Serum | $32

Dry Skin

Itching, cracking or even scaling skin are all signs of dry skin. If these concerns are your reality, you can opt for ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and glycerin. These ingredients are known to help exceptionally well with hydrating and restoring moisture back into the skin.

Bring moisture back into you skin with these products:

  • Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Moisturiser | $92

  • Kopari Moisture Whipped Ceramide Cream | $81

  • Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream | $103

Mature skin manifests itself in the form of fine lines around the forehead, lips and the outer corners of the eye. Products with ingredients like retinol and peptides can boost the skin’s collagen levels and soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Wave bye bye to wrinkles with:

  • Biossance Retinol Night Serum | $115

  • Tatcha The Silk Serum | $115

  • Supergoop Daily Dose Bioretinol + Mineral + SPF 40 | $76

Large pores amplify the skin’s texture, making it look uneven and rough. Products formulated with BHAs, niacinamide and retinol tighten pores to create the appearance of smoother and more even skin.

Achieve poreless looking skin with the following products:

  • Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Treatment Primer Blur Drops | $51

  • Dr. Jart + Pore Remedy Renewing Foam Cleanser | $41

  • Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Remedy Moisturizer | $74

Dark Spots

Dark spots appear in various forms such as brown, red or even grey patches that contribute to an uneven complexion. Individuals struggling with dull, pigmented skin can opt for brightening products consisting of ingredients such as vitamin C and niacinamide to restore the damaged skin.

Brighten up your skin with the following products:
