Singapore Yachting Festival 2024 Sets Sail in April

In the heart of Southeast Asia, the much-anticipated Singapore Yachting Festival is gearing up for its second edition, promising a grand display of maritime opulence and innovation.

Scheduled to take place at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove from April 25 to 28, the four-day extravaganza will be preceded by the inaugural ICOMIA Boating Industry Conference on April 23-24 and the prestigious Yacht Style Awards on April 24.

The festival expects to host an impressive fleet of around 70 yachts. With many making their country and regional debuts, the event is set to be a showcase of the finest in motor yachts, sailboats, catamarans, and superyachts. Floating attractions extend beyond vessels, featuring a diverse range of water toys available for testing by visitors. Water toy demos and RIB rides promise to be popular activities, offering attendees a firsthand experience of the latest in aquatic leisure.

On land, the festival experience will be elevated with the addition of a Lifestyle Festival. This segment will feature F&B vendors, luxury brands, pop-up stalls, and retail booths, creating an immersive environment for attendees. Live bands, jugglers, and face painters will add a touch of entertainment, ensuring a delightful experience for the whole family.

Arthur Tay, CEO and Executive Director of SUTL Enterprise, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “ONE°15’s acquisition of the Singapore Yachting Festival signifies a transformative journey towards elevating our brand influence in the marine industry. With curated, unique experiences, Singapore Yachting Festival aligns seamlessly with our vision to propel yachting into a lifestyle embraced by a discerning, aspirational audience.”

Preceding the main event, the ICOMIA Boating Industry Conference, a collaboration between the International Council of Marine Associations (ICOMIA) and the Singapore Boating Industry Association, will unfold on April 23-24. Focusing on sustainability and decarbonization in the recreational marine industry, global speakers will share insights on propulsion systems, infrastructure development, Asia’s growing markets, and industry-driven efforts.

The eve of the festival, April 24, will witness the third edition of the Yacht Style Awards, held in the club’s Constellation Ballroom. With an exclusive guest list of over 300 VIPs, yacht owners, prospects, and major personalities in the yachting industry, the gala dinner will recognize excellence and creative flair in the yachting industry across Asia and internationally.
