10 Best Spots to Watch the FIFA World Cup 2022

FIFA World Cup season is here and if you're not there to watch in person, you don’t need to spend big to soak in the football fever right here at home. From the 21st November to 18th December 2022 more than 70 locations around Singapore are screening matches and below are some of the best places you can catch your favourite team play.

1. ST3PS at B2 of Changi Airport

Head to the air-conditioned ST3PS at Terminal 3. Not just for free movie screenings, they’ll also be airing FIFA World Cup matches from 21st November 2022 onwards. Opening hours will be extended so you can even catch the 3am matches here. They’ve got seating space for 200 and there’s room for an additional 100 to stand if you don't manage to get a seat.

2. National Library

Catch the live screenings of 3rd and final matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 over at the National Library's outdoor plaza. They both start at 11 pm.

3. Singapore Sports Hub

Singapore Sports Hub is one of the best places to soak in the good vibes with your friends, there will be live music, football games screened on a giant LED screen, and FIFA-themed displays that everyone can enjoy for free.

4. Downtown East

Downtown East hypes up the East side with the screening of 25 matches at E!Avenue’s Level 2 Event Square. Support your favourite teams without worrying about the neighbours by catching the quarter-finals, 3rd place play-off, and finals live here. 6pm and 9pm matches will also be aired.

5. Lau Pa Sat

Lao Pa Sat is more than just a place for great satay. It also has a 130-inch LED screen, where you can watch the World Cup matches. The best part is that there are stalls open round the clock to support your stomach while you support your team.

6. CÉ LA VI Singapore

Watch the world's top football teams compete live from Qatar with spectacular city views at this rooftop destination. They'll be screening the Final live on 18 December, where 65-inch TVs will bring all the action to fans as they party 57 storeys up in the sky.

Tickets are priced at S$38 per person from 10pm and includes one premium pour at both the spaces, but wear your favourite team jersey and you’ll get complimentary entry.

7. Muddy Murphy’s

Muddy Murphy's will keep you up to date on the soccer matches by screening them live on six large mounted TVs.

8. McDonald’s

18 McDonald’s outlets around Singapore will be televising live the World Cup matches while you enjoy a midnight Big Mac. Some of the selected outlets include 51@AMK, Woodlands Mart, Superbowl Jurong, Rivervale Plaza, and Pasir Ris Sports Centre.

9. HomeTeamNS Clubhouses

The clubhouses at Balestier, Bukit Batok, Chinatown, and Khatib will be open for screenings of the World Cup 2022.

10. Dallas Cafe & Bar

Enjoy a pint and experience football in the best way at this popular Marina Bay Sands spot or their Boat Quay outpost. This contemporary bar-bistro will allow fans to watch most of the World Cup 2022 matches live via screenings throughout the night.
