Holiday to Hong Kong

That’s right vacation-starved people, there’s finally somewhere we can go

In a COVID world, we will take any piece of small and exciting news when we can but this, my friends, is not small and it’s very exciting.

On Friday, Singapore and Hong Kong announced an in-principle agreement to establish a bilateral Air Travel Bubble to pave the way for the safe and gradual resuming of leisure and business travel between the two cities.

Under this proposed agreement, there will be no quarantine or Stay At Home Notice on either side but those travelling between the two countries will have to produce negative test results before leaving either side.

Speaking of the proposed bubble, Ms. Juliana Kua, Executive Director, Greater China, said,  “This bilateral ATB is a milestone arrangement to help revive air travel between Singapore and Hong Kong in a safe and progressive way. Both cities will have the necessary protocols in place to safeguard the health and well-being of all travellers. Singapore Tourism Board stands ready with our tourism partners to welcome Hong Kong travellers to Singapore.”
