Singapore Airlines tops TripAdvisor's 10 best airlines in the world

Singapore Airlines wins again. 

After seeing Singapore Changi named world's best airport back in March, the island-state's flag carrier is now being hailed as travelers' favorite airline in the world. Singapore Airlines takes first place in the list of world's best airlines compiled by Tripadvisor's algorithm, which takes into account the quantity and quality of user reviews. Singapore Airlines also wins Best First Class and Best Economy for its cabins. 

Asian airlines fly high as passenger favorites in the 2018 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice awards, with Japan Airlines in fourth place, ahead of Taiwanese carrier EVA Air (fifth) and Korean Air (10th). 

Air New Zealand comes in second place, ahead of Emirates in third. The New Zealand carrier also wins Best Premium Economy class. The Best Business Class cabin goes to Qatar Airways.
