The Best Airlines In The World 2019

The  votes have  been counted and the winner is ....

 

 

Every year there  is one  name  that can have airline carriers quaking in their  boots  more than any other: Skytrax. Conducting an annual survey based on more than 21 million responses, the aviation firm recently  revealed their  10 best  airlines in the world.

 

 1. Qatar Airlines

Moving up a place  from last  year's number 2, the Middle Eastern carrier won a heap of praise  for its Business Class  thats like First Class, Q Suites.

 

2. Singapore  Airlines

Our nation's carrier slipped down a  place  from last year due to stiff  competition and while  it wasn't first overall, Singapore Airlines  did win first  place for  best  cabin crew and world's best First Class.

 

3. ANA All  Nippon Airways

Staying firm at number 3, the Japanese carrier also won for world's best  airport services  and best business class in Asia.

 

4. Cathay Pacific

Moving up two spots from last  year, Cathay won points  for their  cutting-edge  technology and safety features.

 

5. Emirates

Moving down just  one spot from  last  year, this  year their  awards came  flooding  in for  their  acclaimed entertainment system.

 

6. EVA  Air

EVA Air won the awards for the world’s best airline-cabin cleanliness and the world’s best economy-class catering this year.

 

7.  Hainan Airlines

Up one spot from last year, they won for the best  airline and  airline staff in  China  as well as  for having  the  best  business-class  amenities.

 

8. Qantas 

Up an  impressive three places from last year, the Australian favourite swept the board for  best  business-class  and best first-class in  the  Australia Pacific  region.

 

9. Lufthansa

They came in at number  nine  this year due to their best  airline in Europe and best first-class in Europe  wins.

  

10. Thai Airways

Sticking  at number 10, voters loved their staff getting  them the award for best airline  staff  in Asia.
