What To Do This Weekend 10th March 2018

Your Guide To A Fun-Filled Weekend

District Design Dialogue At Holland Village

Holland Village is throwing a huge design party filled will art installations and live music performances and everyone is invited. Spread over nine days, the District Design Dialogue held in conjunction with Singapore Design Week, will be putting up a host of events to keep your weekends buzzing with activity. Expect pop-up bars, acoustic gig sessions by homegrown heroes and a discussion panel with creatives like Steve Lawler, Johnathan Fong and Brunch Bandits among others.

Ice Cream Sundays: Boogie At The Barracks

Ice-cream parties are the best kind of parties to stave off Singapore’s sweltering heat. Ice Cream Sundays returns this year, with more funky tunes and plenty of art food and booze to boot. Hitting the decks is a lineup of DJs including Mugic Soundsystem and Adam Searle.

Art-Zoo Inflatable Park

This one is perfect for all animal-lovers young and old alike, making for a perfect family weekend activity. The adorable zoo-inspired inflatable park that took over The Float @ Marina Bay last year returns with an even more extensive array of colourful creatures. Expect 15 massive bouncing zones featuring animals such as gorillas, rhinos, hedgehogs and even imaginary ones like the Yeti.

Books And Beer

Sometimes all you need are the simple pleasures in life. Knock back a cold one as you swap your pre-loved books with other bookworms at homegrown microbrewery, The 1925 Brewing Co. To score a complimentary brew, bring along a book written by a local author to swap with.
