Baselworld 2018: Bulgari Unveils New Plans For The Brand’s Icons

Fresh New Designs And Record-Breaking Ultra-Thin Watches

Baselworld where some of the world’s biggest names in watches and jewelry come together to showcase their latest innovations and designs commences today and runs until March 27th. This year, Bulgari continues to push the limits of watchmaking artistry with the unveiling of its latest plans for the brand’s most iconic collections. Here are the highlights from the new line up of watches revealed at the most important international event for the watch industry.

Diamonds For The Ladies

At this year’s Baselworld, Bulgari once again sets itself apart from the crowd with the two newest additions to the ladies’ line up. The union of the finest Italian jewellery artistry and Swiss watchmaking genius is encapsulated in the world’s first Diva Finissima Minute Repeater and the Diva’s Dream Tourbillion Pheonix. These two unique timepieces come in a limited batch of 10 and 50 respectively.

The launch of Divas Dream Minute Repeater - touted to be the world’s thinnest repeater housing a 1.95 mm Finissimo movement – is the first time the brand has used the movement in a traditionally styled ladies' timepiece.

The World’s Slimmest Self-Winding Watch

In the quest for thinness, Bulgari has consistently produced record-breaking ultra-thin watches that have astonished the world, and this year is hardly an exception. At just 3.95mm, the Octo Finissimo Tourbillion Automativ sets the new world record for the thinnest automatic tourbillion wristwatch in production – defeating the 4.30mm Piaget.

The Iconic Serpenti’s Fresh New Look

The iconic Serpenti Twist watch has shed its skin and now comes in four new variations. The variety of contemporary hues imbued in the latest season’s designs radiate an impertinent sense of chic. The ever-evolving range of designs from this collection makes for the perfect style-statement.
