Event Highlights You Don’t Want To Miss
Asia’s largest yacht show returns this year for the eight edition, once again giving visitors the exclusive opportunity to discover some of the world’s finest super yachts. This year’s show will be held from the 12th-15th April 2018 at the ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.
Last year’s massive success saw a turnout of over 14, 000 visitors and a grand total of 94 yachts on display, including a record number of world and Asian debuts. This year, organisers aim to beat those records out of the water.
Corralling together an expanded line-up of the world’s most prestigious super yachts and boating brands, prominent brands such as Boat Lagoon Yachting, Azimut, Hong Seh Marine, Simpson Marine and many more, will be debuting their new prized yachts.
Among the exciting line up of yachts to be revealed and the dazzling social calendar replete with glamorous parties, networking events and high-end entertainment, here are the highlights not to be missed at this year’s exclusive show.
The Singapore Yacht Show Gala Dinner
In celebration of the opening of the show on the first night, an exclusive gala dinner welcomes guests with a glamorous evening of show-stopping entertainment and the finest cuisine by award-winning chefs at the W Singapore Grand Ballroom.
350 VIP guests including some of the world’s leading yachting personalities, Asia’s most influential people, yacht owners, and industry captains will celebrate developments in the growing Asian yachting market, whilst enabling those new to the yachting lifestyle a chance to learn more about it.
Amidst the glitz and glamour of the night, a silent auction will also be held during the gala dinner with proceeds going to the Biosphere Foundation. Tickets to the Ball are available at SGD $5000 for a table of ten or SGD $550 per individual.
Stunning Super Yachts
Among the wide selection of yachts on display from catamarans and dayboats to fully-fledged super yachts, the world premiere of the 52 meters Prana by Atzaro is one to look out for and certainly hard to miss. One of the biggest yachts confirmed in the 2018 line-up, the majestic newly-built eight-room bedroom Phinisi yacht will be making its world debut at the Show. This is your chance to admire the yacht’s stunning interiors as well as the artistry of Phinisi boat-building – considered to be an art form and a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Asian Premieres And Debuts
Asia’s leading yacht dealer and one of the show's first exhibitors, Simpson Marine will also be presenting its Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 – the first of a new line of super yachts, featuring taut lines, new stepped hull and a stylish deck plan. This new yacht to be on display is touted as the most customizable cruising yacht in the market to date.
The luxury yacht brand will also be showcasing numerous iconic yachts, such as the flagship Beneteau Gran Turismo 46 sport cruiser, and the Beneteau Lagoon 40 – Lagoon’s new sailing catamaran model that sold over 100 units within the first few months of the official unveiling.
Test Out The Latest Yacht Toys
An annual feature at the show, the On Water Demo Platform offers visitors a thrilling experience trying out the latest stylish yacht toys such as flyboards, hoverboards, seabobs as well as the three-man submarine.
