Bentley says bye-bye to the Mulsanne

That’s a wrap on Bentley’s oldest model
They say that all good things must come to an end and that is most certainly the case for the Bentley Mulsanne. First seen on the roads in 1959, with a six and three-quarter later V8 engine, this beautiful beast of a car is leaving to make way for Bentley’s new hybrid productions.
But before you start despairing, Bentley are giving the Mulsanne the send off a car of this caliber deserves, with a special edition of which only 30 will be made. Called the ‘6.75 Edition by Mulliner’ it has been built to celebrate the sheer speed of the Mulsanne and will have a twin-turbocharged engine with 530bhp and 811lb foot of torque to send it from 0-62mph in just 5.1 seconds.
There’s also enough design features to keep everyone happy too with the likes of the interior vents replaced by miniature versions of the engine oil cap, 6.75 Edition motifs stitched into the seats and a nice smattering of chrome badging on nearly all the surfaces.
And, once all 30 special editions of this legendary car are gone, that’s it for the Mulsanne as Bentley turns its attention to the Flying Spur as their new flagship vehicle.
